Congratulations you're getting married!

Weddings will forever hold a special place in my heart, no matter the size or scale. Every single wedding is beautifully unique, full of intimate details that together celebrate your love story.

A broken flower arch in the venue Oh Me Oh My in Liverpool. The arch is against a vintage wallpapered wall and is made in peach and lilacs with lots of wild foliage
Natalie the model is in her wheelchair which is pictured from the back, she has her head dipped to the side, you can see her pearl sleeve on the wedding dress and she has a short veil on. The back of the wheelchair has a flower piece attached and either side is both ends of the broken arch, she's framed by each arch column
A close up shot of one side of the broken arch, you can see the peach coloured roses and lilac tulips. Theres trailing ruscus and boxwood foliage coming out creating a lot of depth and giving a natural, growing look as if the arch has always been there

The images from this collection were shot for a styled wedding shoot at the city centre venue Oh Me Oh My in Liverpool. Lead and organised by Sophie who runs the inclusive wedding Boutique 130 Atelier and photographed by Tasha from Opperhill Photography. The shoot has also been featured in Rock N Roll Bride magazine, you can find the online feature here

Am I the right Florist for you?

Choosing your wedding suppliers can be made easy when you find those whose style you already love, whose core values behind the business align with your own and who you feel you can trust and enjoy the process with!

Given how closely I work with my clients on the lead up to their weddings, it's imperative that both of us feel comfortable working with one another. I will forever treasure being trusted to have a part in your special day so to make sure we're the right fit here are a few things about me & how I work...

Being a proud queer woman in this very heteronormative industry has meant I have both felt & seen how it can make LGBTQ+ couples feel isolated & uncatered to & that's what I've tried to build Freckles and Flowers to help with. I work without assumptions and without gendered designs, instead I focus solely on you and your love whilst getting to know what you really want your wedding to look and feel like. From that point I work with you to design flowers that will enhance that and keep you dreaming of your perfect day for years to come.

I find my couples often choose me not just based on my floristry work but based on my work in trying to make the wedding industry a more diverse and inclusive place. It's imperative to me that my clients know I am a safe space for them so Freckles and Flowers will always be a visibly queer and inclusive business.

I describe my style as wildly romantic, for modern lovers who dream of the relaxed kind of luxury. I work with only premium floral ingredients whether this be fresh, dried or artificial and design everything bespoke for you. I adore using a mix of both flowers and foliage in a way that celebrates the effortless beauty of the season and I keep everything in my design process as natural and sustainable as possible.

You'll find I don't create the traditional shower bouquets made in foam, my signature designs are all hand-tied, so I'm proudly a foam free Florist! I have found my style as such lends itself well to eco-friendly weddings. I opt for natural growing moss over foam for things like broken arches, aisle flowers and table centres and always am happy to look at plant alternatives for those that want their flowers to keep flowering for longer!

So if you're reading this thinking "We've found our dream Florist" please know I also happily travel all over for weddings so no matter where you are complete my contact form today and let the flower magic begin!

Important info: I have a £1,500 minimum spend for full scale weddings, this means if you want everything from wedding party flowers to ceremony and reception my minimum spend will apply. If you're having an intimate/micro wedding, are eloping or simply require wedding party flowers I am happy to quote upon consultation.

Who Are We

The Full Freckles & Flowers Experience

We all know planning your wedding can be stressful, everyone's telling you to enjoy it but you're surrounded by lists, spreadsheets and Pinterest boards! For me, your wedding Florist should alleviate at least some of that stress, so I choose to work in a really flexible and relaxed way.

From our first interaction I keep things conversational, there are no price lists or catalogues of images because I design for you and your wedding. I don't have a "one size fits all" process, if you want a quick quote, I'll give you one, if you want to catch up over cake & coffee let's go! if you prefer voice notes then thats what we'll go with - however you feel most comfortable doing this is fine by me.

From the point of receiving your initial quote and mood board you'll be able to see if I'm the right Florist for you. Your quote will be full and detailed and outline the overall essence of your wedding and the ideas I have for your flowers. To support that you'll have your first mood board, it will display some of your inspiration images and some of my own ideas to give you a visual for all the flower magic I have planned in my head. If you're happy and wish to book me as your Florist I will at that point require a 50% deposit to secure your date in my diary.

Once the date is secured and the T & C's have been signed and returned the creative process continues. We can have further chats, look at more images, talk about things like ribbons and finishing touches and I'll go away and design separate mood boards for all your flower elements. That way you have clear visuals and will be able to get a real sense of the flower-scape for your day.

I will always reassure my couples on the lead up to the wedding, I make a point of checking in with you, confirming logistics and where I can I'll deal directly with your venue or event planner to take any pressure off you! I want my couples to know that whilst I'm there primarily as your Florist I'll also help where I can with anything else that crops up! Whether you need more supplier recommendations, a coffee run the morning of your wedding or simply need another set of hands on the day - I'm here!

I only take on a certain number of bookings every month, this means my couples have my full attention for their weddings. It allows me to be completely available for you on the lead up and day of your wedding for any unexpected emergencies! I find peace in knowing I am never torn between clients, and I know all my couples feel completely safe and reassured that someone (with a toolkit) is always on hand for them!

TESTIMONIALS

Thank you, Freckles & Flowers, for our beautiful wedding flowers. Your attention to detail, kindness, respect of our wishes and our special day was second to none and very much appreciated. Thank You!

Janine & Helen - An intimate Liverpool wedding

Bag yourself the most talented and invested florist in the business.

We enquired with Georgia to supply flowers for our wedding and we are so glad we found her! She is the queen of floristry and ticked a big box for our queer wedding: an LGBTQ+ Inclusive supplier, and a bloody lovely one at that.

She made our entire venue come alive with an array of stunning floral signature pieces throughout and our beautiful bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets and button holes. We are still absolutely I fascinated with every single floral feature she created for us 😍 3 months later and our dried features are now part of our every day home furnishing.
Georgia was so invested in our day and our vision and provided us with countless mood boards, samples, informal chats, and her own professional suggestions. Our bouquets featured an abundance of colour and were exactly as we dreamt.

Not only did her and her partner make a 500+ mile round trip just to get to us, but she did also not miss a thing. From labelling the buttonholes, to supplying vases, water and towels for the flowers due to the hot weather.

There are genuinely not enough words. Forever thankful for your work Georgia
We cannot recommend freckles and flowers enough 🧡 🌻
